About Our Leadership

Putting the sass in SaaS since 2018...

Our leaders share a lot in common.

Everybody codes.

All of our leadership has a background in software development - and continues to perform some development today.

This keeps us sharp. Grounded. And most importantly - aware of partner needs and technology trends.

I am aware the previous sentence(s) aren't grammatically correct, but the words looked more impactful that way. Just go with it!

Everybody talks.

We

We talk to each other the same way we talk to our partners - with clear, open communication and direct immediate feedback.

Everybody challenges.
Everybody learns.

What does everybody challenge? Everything. "That's the way we've always done it" is a four letter word for us. You could lose your unlimited guacamole and chip privileges saying some shit like that around here...

Constant learning of new ideas, approaches, technologies, processes is a cornerstone of our culture. If you aren't learning, you aren't growing... and then what's the point?

Our Leadership

Reserved. Professionally Dispassionate. Staid. These are words that people never use when describing Dustin.

Before founding Incite Automation, Dustin was a full code software developer. He loves the minutiae of hands-on development as much as he loves surveying the broader technology landscape. Emboldened by this micro/macro perspective, he excels at identifying paradigm shifts in technology ecosystems.

As a career consultant, Dustin has envisioned and executed forward-thinking software solutions for hundreds of businesses. Always one to challenge the status quo, Dustin believes in bringing transparency, discovery, excitement... and entertainment to every engagement.

Dustin holds a degree in Information Systems from American University, and has a bunch of impressive sounding certifications. He is married with two children, both of whom want to watch more YouTube right now.

Things Erin loves:  ✔️ Problem Solving,  ✔️ Data, ✔️ Modernizing Technology, ✔️ Being Neurotically Organized, ✔️ Results, ✔️ Checking items off to-do lists, ✔️ Naming her fur-children after Jane Austen book characters.

Prior to leading Incite Automation as Chief Operating Officer, Erin worked in project management, business applications, data and low code technologies.  She has been a leader in technology and an agent of change for over 10 years.  She identifies her legacy as one of success – achieved through harnessing the collective strengths of her team. Erin challenges the now and incites change with creative solutions.

Erin’s bachelor degree is in Applied Mathematics from Villa Julie College, and her Master’s is in Business Technology Management from Stevenson University.  Are they the same school?  Were they both named Villa Julie College when she started both programs?  Did she woo her now husband with a presentation about metadata?  Yes, yes and yes.

As Chief Technology Officer, Laura Gretz sets the path for Incite Automation’s technical direction – as well as the technical direction for our clients and partners. She is a subject matter expert in almost all of the technologies we represent, and is directly responsible for many of our largest, most high profile engagements.

Immediately following her BS in Computer Science from Bridgewater College - Laura was the very first employee hired by Incite Automation and has been fundamental to its growth and success.

As a career developer/consultant, followed by her promotion to CTO – Laura’s career path has followed a similar one to that of our principal, Dustin Sitton. Granted, she was able to achieve all of the same accomplishments as Dustin, albeit at a significantly younger age, and with far more grace and effervescence.

Is Dustin in any way intimidated or jealous of her meteoric rise? He is definitely not. Dustin is thrilled to turn the reigns of technology over to the next generation of technical leadership. He is totally fine with it, and not conflicted in the slightest. He is super happy for her and this is not a point of contention within the company. Yup. All good! Really, really… good.

As Chief Financial Officer, Jason Crooks oversees the finances for Incite Automation - but that’s just his day job. Jason spends the majority of his time leading our Dynamics 365 Business Central practice. In this role, he helps our partners and clients navigate their journey to modern ERP and accounting platforms.

Over the course of his career, Jason has led countless ERP and accounting system implementations. Jason holds a BS in Business Administration from Charleston Southern University. He is married and moonlights as the Uber driver for his two daughters and ALL their extra-curricular activities.

Wait… Is our CFO’s last name “Crooks”!?!?!?

Is this bad? I mean… maybe nobody will notice? It’ll be funny… ha ha! I’m sure it’ll be fine. I mean… nobody will notice. Make a note to delete this last paragraph.

Otherwise… yikes.

Tim leads our business intelligence practice, and is a subject matter expert in all things data and ETL.

Tim Gavin’s title may be Director of Automation and Data, but his acronym is even more fitting – D.A.D. – because he is the example that we all aspire to be!

Tim leverages his teaching background for the guidance and training of our newest Inciters – setting their careers on the right path with best practices, development standards, project management and learning strategies.

When it comes to data and math, you can say it runs in his family.  Both Tim and his spouse have mathematics degrees and their daughter is currently perusing the same.

His other duties include ensuring that nobody messes with the thermostat, and D.A.D. jokes.

Blake Cheek is Incite Automation’s Director of Cloud Solutions. He is a passionate evangelist for helping organizations unlock the nascent capabilities in their existing software ecosystem. That means he knows a lot about solutions… in the cloud. Talk to him about all things strategy, licensing, pricing, and most importantly – the latest and greatest features and functionality.

Danger! Do NOT talk to him about non cloud software related things… because he’ll keep right on talking about those things too. Just look at his image… we hadn’t even told him to start yet!
